Week 25

We’re Having Fun

I've been out of town and got back late last night so I made this track in a couple hours this afternoon. I almost skipped this week, but I'm super happy that I actually pulled something together. The subreddit theme this week is "road trip", so this is sorta themed because my wife and I were road tripping in Colorado. I tried to make something sappy / happy / silly to reflect how I felt the whole way.

The video is from one of our stops - Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. During our trip - and especially at the park - her mantra was "I'm having fun!" (spoken like she's desperately trying to convince herself) and my mantra was "We're going to die!" Okay, it sounds weird, but it was such a blast. I love this woman deeply, and this video / song gives me joy.

Now I'm gonna watch it again. :)
